What does this mean?????

I just went in for an orthodontist appointment. WHen I was nearly finished to doctor came up and said we need you to get some progress X-RAYS and were going to have a long meeting about your progress next time. What do you think that this means? DO you think that It means im not progressing far, or I'm progressing fast?

Some orthos check root position as they think your treatment is getting close to done. My ortho just had a "talk" with me about my progress to see what I thought about it because he thinks I am finishing quite early. He more or less wanted to know if I saw anything I didn't like...as far as final cosmetic tweaking type stuff. Don't be worried. If it was bad, I would think he'd warn you. He probably just doesn't want to mention "early release" until he checks root position.

Be glad he "wants" to have a "long meeting to discuss your progress", not all orthos are that communicative!
The progress x-rays are typical. Relax.
