monster wire

#1 Post by littleshaddies »

Mother of pearl!!! This hurt! How did we go from thin silvery to something borrowed from the builders brown monster I don't know. It is such a heavy wire my head tilts forwards(not really). I hate it! It has extra hooks on it for the powerchains and my lips feel those today.
Stll, my teeth are supposed to move faster so i will have to get used to it. As if I have a choice. There, I have bad days too. :-1

Thanks Karen
I feel better already for just letting it all out. Back to soup today, yum yum, yum. Barbed wire is only on the top for now, I will get it at the bottom as well in 8 weeks, nice. My bottom teeth move slower so have to wait for it, still have a tooth out of line there. I believe this heavy thing is to push everything back together and close extraction gaps.
The shock on my face in the miror after the appointment - priceless. :paperbag:

Everyone is different I suppose, but my teeth moved fast with the heavier wire. Once you get used to it, no problems.

I know how you feel littleshadies!

At my last adjustment along with bottom braces and powerchains I got a new bracket on top which means I had to get a new wire! They gave me a new huger thicker bigger wire plus another think one to help bring down my impacted cuspid! It hurt so bad! :( I was on smoothies and soup for a while there!

Good luck and hope you feel better soon!
