I had an incisor that was covering the corner of another incisor before the braces. Well now that things are ending up in the right place and that tooth is out of the way there is some staining on the tooth underneath. I guess it is where it was inpossible to brush it for so long. It looks like decay-- it is a dark brown.. but not black like a cavity would be. It just looks awful though (at least to me) and its right in the front. It looks like I constantly have something stuck between my teeth. Has anyone else had something like this happen? Do I just have to tough it out till the braces come off and I can get them bleached? Or will that even get rid of it?

ceramic uppers and metal lowers on 8/9/05
I have the exact same problem and have been worrying today. As my teeth are slowly beginning to shift stains in places that could not previously be reached are showing. Did anyone hear what the best thing to do was?
