How much are you paying

#1 Post by missing_tooth »

For those that feel like sharing, how much is this costing you out of pocket? For me, 5k for braces, possibly another 2-3k for surgery and implant. uhhh yeah, do you take payments? lol

$4300 No ortho insurance :( They were kind enough to bill me the exact balance on my 2005 spending account though :D so I could clean that out. The rest I will be reimbursed through my medical spending account. Surgery I have no idea as I have not had a consult yet but my ortho thought it is would be considered major medical so if that is the case I have medical ins that will cover it...I hope!

$4900 total for 30 month treatment.

$1000 initial payment and $150/monthly.
Half of that, plus $500 is paid by insurance (yay).

So around $2200.
