a nice xmas surprise from my ortho.....

#1 Post by londonchick »

Hi All

just wanted to share with people who would understand my excitment. Went for adjustment today (long gap as my ortho has been off having a baby) and not only did she say i was done with the elastics but then she said "and i think we can get rid of that quad helix expander". Oh the absolute joy. I've had that in for just over a year and it feels absolutly wonderful to have it gone. Can't wait to have a really nice meal sans expander

Yay, Londonchick!!!

I haven't had an expander, but I do have elastics, and I can imagine the difference without the expander!

Metal braces from March 24, 2005 until July 30, 2007. Estimate was 18-24 months, but I had them for 28 months.
