Yep, I'm finally getting closer to the 6 months barrier

I've been taking pictures since almost the first day i got my braces on.

Today I'm posting these pictures because i just got back from my appointment and the ortho, put power-chains on!! I'm very glad I finnally straighted my teeth out and now I'm closing my gaps!!

but well, here are the pics

This is the upper part, on August 8, 2005, 5 days, since i got the spacer and the front wire on and the same day i got my 4 bicuspids out.


this is the one i just took today! ( too bad you cant see the power-chains.

I love how they had moved!! and only 5 months

What do you guys think?

5 months, Am I going to finish before the 24-30 months the ortho first said???????

Very good progress! The upper ones look very good, apart from the gaps.

Those are great results. It probably felt like forever before you got there. I have a question about your extractions. I'm getting mine done in a couple of days. Did you have your pre-molars taken out under IV sedation or with just the novocaine shots. I'm trying to get an opinion if I can do it without the IV sedation.

im guessing the IV Sedation is when they put you to sleep, or am i wrong?

and the novocaine shots, are the one that only put to sleep parts of the mouth?

if im right, the dentist only uses the novocaine, he put local anestesy and took them out.

any more questions?

Congratulations on your hecka awesome progress! Your teeth are looking amazing and especially after only 5 months!

I haven't had even that great progress after 20 months! Hopefully I'll get some soon!
