Yes, I know, no question is a stupid question.
I'd like to know, what is the purpose of elastics? I never had them, but I might need them depending on what they do. Also, I'm just curious as to their purpose. Thanks!

Elastics can be used for several different purposes, usually to move your bite around, pull it down, etc. A lot of people get them soon before debanding, although I have heard of some people getting them the day they are braced. Then again, some don't even get elastics at all...now I'm rambling
