Bottom Midline and Settling?

#1 Post by SJade40 »

I came across an article on this website, and I'm hoping it applies to me. My bottom midline is off from the top, and im getting my braces taken off ASAP. But supposedly, this is intentionally done, so that once the teeth settle, the midline is right on? A retainer assists this process or something? Could anyone provide any more information on this process? Thanks.
