It depends on whether the extraction is a simple one or complicated one. Two of my extractions were simple and costed 96$, the other was complicated, required stitches and costed 160$ Canadian.

Ceramic top braces: January 9th, 2006
Metal bottom braces: May 1st, 2006
If memory serves me correctly, it was about $100-$125 per tooth.
BTW, check into your medical insurance. Sometimes medical insurance will cover extractions because they may be done by an MD (as opposed to a dentist).
I'm the owner/admin of this site. Had ceramic uppers, metal lowers ~3 years in my early 40's. Now in Hawley retainers at night!
wisdom teeth are much more expensive. also, the sedation costs more than the extractions, i think. i paid $90/tooth for my bicuspids but only had local anesthetic (i cant spell that freaking word)
four bicuspids removed 1/3/06
clear uppers and metal lowers placed 1/5/06
timeframe for braces: 24-30 months
