ONE MORE MONTH TO GO !!

I went to my appointment yesterday morning with hopes of seeing the end in site, and thank goodness he said "Can you take it ONE more month??" I said, sure why not - what's another month!! But I did have him grind off my "bite blockers" behind my top front teeth. It feels SOOO good to have those out of my mouth and able to feel the back of my teeth again after they have been there for 13+months !! He is doing some "tweaking" in areas to finish it up.

After looking at my jaws where I need molars replaced, he said that I will probably need to get bridges instead of implants. The jaw bone would need to be built up quite a bit (grafting?) and I would have to go to an oral surgeon to get them done, which would be much more expensive.
My dentist does implants, but when it needs that much grafting of bone he refers to an oral surgeon. And it would end up costing alot more than expected, so I will be happy with bridges.

I will try and post some pictures. We have pictures from the start and during treatment, but I still have to learn how to post them.

So my next appointment is March 27th at 11:00. Wish me luck !!!

Braces coming OFF 5/31/06 !!!

Congrats are nearing completion! It's always much easier when you have the finish line in sight! :D Good luck with the rest :)
