NEWBIE AT SITE STARTING BRACES JOURNEY SOON

#1 Post by chillin-in-grilz »

Hey Im new, I had orthodontic surgery April 20th. It was not as bad as ppl say. I had 4 teeth removed including 3/4 wisdom teeth. I even had a top tooth pertruding out in my top gum.

The surgery went well. Long time waiting. Took up to 3 months in advance for booking it.

I was bruised for a while but not as bad. I starting eating a soft diet. I lived on PUDDING LOL. Then a week later slowly I started eating regular food.

It was kind of gross. Seeing al lthe stiching and stuff but it was cool.

Now I have my 1st ortho appoint July 31st. Thats the one with all the X Rays and molds and stuff.

Then My consult is Sept 5th. cant in Aug. Going on vacation. Then in the middle of September. I should have my BRACES! Very nervous

Im kind of mad. They say im gonna MIGHT need a bridge. But it costs just as much as braces. to close the gaps. but funny thing is, they are closing on there own :)

It seems like it'll be a long time for braces, but time goes by really fast. I can still remember the last time I posted on this website. My ticker only showed 4 days, now, I have 11 months of braces already!
