Oh its gunna be dramatic! Sweet :)

I used to have an underbite aswell. Amazing looking back now at how the bite used to be. Hence taking all those pics is a great way of reflecting. Seeing how far i've gotten. Really is all worth it :)

Wow.... Thats all I can say.. The swelling is such, that I cant open my mouth how I want, but you get the idea... Im so happy... Its been 25 years with a bad bite, and finally, finally, its normal!!! :) Hopefully these braces will be off in April for my Wedding! Its been 4 years with them already! (I kept putting the surgery off, so its my fault!!)

If anyone here is thinking of getting this surgery and you live in the Northern California area, Dr Townsend was the best! (She is Kaiser)

Talk to you all soon,

Joe

Hey guys,

I ended up having Upper and Lower done. They moved Upper up and forward, and rotated the lower back and to the right (I think it was right) hehe...

I feel good. Im 3 1/2 weeks post-op and lots of the swelling is gone, there is no bruising, no scars on my cheeks (they faded away already) and I finally got my splint out! I should take a new pic for the after (as the first was about a week post op, and I was still so swollen and had the dumb splint!).

But yea, all is well :) I get to start chewing in 2 1/2 weeks! Yay :) Cant wait!

Joe
