3 weeks, talking strange?
yeah I'm at nearly 3 weeks post op.. the swelling has gone down to the point where I look like a human being and I just got the splint out so this is the new "feel" of my mouth. Does anyone at this point or further than this point think talking felt really wierd? It might the numbness in my lip but I feel like I'm spitting more too.

I'm three weeks and two days and I'm still quite swollen, still dribbling (not anywhere near as bad as before though) and still can't speak clearly. So, based on that I reckon you're doing well!
But to answer your question, yes it does feel weird. My mouth is in a totally different position now and is still so numb, so when I move my tongue to speak it's a totally different feeling.
