surgery on dec 12th!!

Hey everyone- I haven't written on here since I got my braces on in August. Well, I just found out i'm having upper and lower jaw surgery on December 12th, so it is happening so fast! I have been keeping up with the post, and they all have been so helpful. Any last advice of things I can do leading up to surgery? thanks!

One minor thing that I found helpful -- on your day of your surgery, wear a shirt that doesn't require you to pull over your head. Don't forget that you will be wearing the same article of clothing the next day after surgery so make sure it's easy to put on!

thanks guys! you are so sweet! that is a great idea about wearing a button up shirt, I didn't even think of that. I will keep everyone updated as soon as im feeling up to it. thanks again :)

Hi lindss,

I realize today's actually the 13th, but I hope things went well yesterday and wish you a speedy, pain-free recovery.

LOL about the button-down top â€“ I was actually told at my consult (way back in August) to wear one of those, and just this week I realized the only buttony tops I have are dressy blouses. See, I really hate to iron, so most of my casual tops are stretchy cotton pullovers. Went and bought a button-down shirt the other day â€“ could have borrowed one of my hubby's, but he's really tall and those shirts just have waay too many buttons to negotiate!
