Hi Everyone!
Well, I finally had my upper (ceramic) and lower (metal) braces put on yesterday! The girl who helped the orthodontist was 34 and just had braces put on a few months back. That made me feel a littler better. She told me that I would be sore for about three weeks. I am hurting pretty bad right now. Mainly when I try to eat and even if it is soft food. I am just in shock that the day finally came. The ortho. told me that in four months they will have a good idea of a targeted surgery date. That gives me something to look forward to. Oh, and I am so amazed that in one day, one of my lower front teeth is pushed back flush with the others!
We are getting a snow storm and I'm stuck at home with the kids. I think I will make some potato soup ... that should be easy to eat!
Braces....FINALLY!
