I don't have time to get into details right now but I most definetly 100% recommend gtting your wisdom teeth out now!
Open wounds in your mouth that you will hardly be able to open and will be using a srynge in will be the LAST thing you need!
Surgery is tough enough without extras like tooth extractions.
Should I have wisdoms removed now or at jaw surgery?

this is exactly what I wanted to tell you but I was rushed. Nose procedures are extremley common with upper jaw surgery and part of the package and it sucks because you're swollen AND can't use your nose (I couldn't breathe through mine for well over a week!).seriously wrote:Really?! Okay, good thoughts. I was just thinking that it would be easier to wait but I'm hearing I will be miserable if I do.
I had two wisdom teeth removed maybe six months before surgery and wisdom teeth removal leaves wounds in the very back of the mouth that would need to be cleaned. Not to mention it would add swelling and discomfort.
The original plan was to have my wisdom teeth taken out during surgery but then they started to hurt and got taken out before.
Thank goodness. Wisdom teeth were super easy and a chance for me to undergo a "preliminary" procedure with my OS. It made me feel a lot better and safer when it came to the big surgery.
After the big surgery I honestly kept thinking to myself "I am SO glad I had my wisdom teeth out before!"
In the midst of it all the last last thing you want is more swelling, pain, stiches, and inscisions that could get infected. You will hardly be able to open your mouth at first!
So yeah, from expirience, I am VERY glad I had them taken ot before!
