One Day Post Op w/ pics!

I got back from the hospital yesterday. I had a Le Fort 1. They cut my upper palate to widen it (to correct a cross-bite on both sides), they brought my upper front teeth forward and down a little bit too.

My surgery was at 1:00PM or so, I was awake again around 4:00PM. They stuck a bunch of cocaine q-tips up my nose before I was even wheeled into the surgery room. That tasted nasty. Once I got into the surgery room, I don't remember anything at all until I woke up again in the recovery area.

I didn't want to wake up either. I must've been having a good dream or something. Anyway, for being 1 day out of surgery I look pretty good. No excessive swelling, no bruising.

Thanks for the well wishes. I do have one question though. This may be something I'm noticing because of the numbing of my upper palate but it seems as though my upper palate (especially in the back) is a lot lower than it was. I mean A LOT LOWER.

Is that normal?
