Nutritional Supplements in Powder Form?

Hi Everyone,

I am having upper and lower jaw surgery in the next few weeks and I was going to buy some of the bromelain and arnica montana supplements that I read about on here, but I realized most of them come in pill form. Would someone who is having upper and lower surgery even be able to swallow pills in the weeks after surgery? For anyone who has used these supplements, were the pills fine even if you were rubber banded shut (I just can't see how this would work) or did you get them in powder form or just blend them up with a smoothie in the blender?

good point! I have lingual braces on my upper jaw and I know the ortho is going to put some brackets on the outside of my upper teeth, but not many, so I guess I won't be terribly tightly banded (I hope).
