surgery wanted - where to start?

Hello everyone!

I am currently wearing braces on both sets of teeth. My dentist noted that I could benefit from oral surgery to bring my bottom set of teeth forward, not for any dental or orthodontic purposes but just to improve me appearance slightly ( i have what i would describe as poor facial contours and a depressed chin!).

Does anyone know if its still possible to get referred for orthognathic surgery for aesthetic reasons in the uk? And also, how much do these kind of operations cost? Even if its a rough estimate because I have not a clue!
