talk about some kinda ridiculous bad luck

GET THIS !!!!!!!

I am ~7-8 weeks post op.

I am walking up a set of stairs and i hear this noise behind me. at the top of the stairs it keeps getting loud [like someone rushing up the stairs] so i turn to see what the hell all the commotion is about. I literally turn my head into this guys SKULL hitting my JAW DEAD ON. My entire upper lip was bleeding and im spitting out blood on the floor.

F'ING RIDICULOUS. This guy was 'EXTREMELY' sorry but I couldnt even explain to him the seriousness of this. This would have been a bad injury with a REGULAR jaw. My jaw is still healing 7mm of bone movement ...

I am really scared i messed something up.

Go in for X-rays tomorrow.

Cross your fingers for me or something :(

They are doing the X-rays today so i'll know i guess tomorrow..

But yeah, they said everything looked fine. My bite was very minimally different than last week... but everything looks cool.

brendan...I cringed when I read this. How awful for this to happen.

I have you in my thoughts that everything checks out OK. Glad to hear the initial report is good.

Let us know what the x-rays show.

In the meantime, take care...

My thoughts and prayers are with you. No one should go throught this once yet alone twice.

Mike
I wore braces (this time) for 1294 days or 3 years, 6 months and 17 days.
But who's counting?

Fantastic news! Just starting the healing process, I can't imagine having to deal with it a second time.
