#1 Post by colorpurple »

my smile is super goofy post-sarpe. i've attributed it to the stitches in my upper lip and nose (i hope!!!) when do things start to look back to normal??

I don’t know how long it’s been for you but I am going on thirty days. I had both SARPE and SARME done and both my lips still feel really tight... I stopped expanding the bottom at around 9mm about 4 days ago and the top around 12mm yesterday. My lips still feel really tight near the incision point. I also still have some swelling around my nose and chin and cheeks. Now with the large gaps my lips look a little different as they lay against my teeth. From everything I have read and reviewed it seems it could be several months until your lips feel "normal" again.

SARPE and SARME are the same thing. SARME is just more technical.
