14 Months Post-Op, Pain :-(

#1 Post by bstndance »

I had my surgery November 2008. Things have been going great since then. However, last night I started getting tenderness and then pain when I go to open my mouth. It may the masseter muscle but it's also in the same area where my surgery was.

Anyone else post-op experience pain down the road? My co-worker had knee surgery and she said her knee will bother her when the weather changes. It's raining now. Maybe I'm having one of those issues.

Thoughts?

I developed an eye pain probably from a nerve damage during the surgery. I am now being examined by eye specialist and probably a nerve doctor to find out what we can do about it. It did not bother me till about 2 months ago when my nerve regenerated and numbness in that area turned into permanent pain :(

But its not so bad and its getting a little better lately, so I hope its just the nerve healing.
