I'm sorry that I haven't been able to post pics directly to the board....I couldn't figure out how! I don't know if I'll keep blogging tons, but I started this to show you how I'm doing now.

There are pics from my Day 20 up.

Yipee-What great results-absolutely beautiful. You are still swollen and will be amazed at your final results! I went in for 3rd post-op surgery to remove hardware this week, but prior to that my results were improving daily-lip incompetence, swelling etc. I think I like my new profile best! You still have swelling inside your mouth that will take some time. My physical therapist said the middle of your mouth-lips, gums and chin take the longest for the nerves to repair themselves. Try to be patient-we seem to be the same age as me-or ok-a little younger-cudos to us for doing all of this at our age! Continued success on your recovery.

OhioM: Congrats!! Your results look great.

Your post-op pictures look EXACTLY like mine after my SARPE and MSDO. I hope I don't get any worse when I have my bi-max later this year. You and I seem to have very similar bruising patterns :)

Once again, congrats!!!

After pics look great!

As far as posting pics on any forum, it's really easy.

1. Get a free account at a photo sharing website like photobucket.com
2. From your computer, upload the photos you want to show into your free account at photobucket.
3. Copy the image code link from the picture you want to show
4. paste it into your thread here

Ex:Here's a random photo I found on photobucket

What a great result! :D

Also, re lip incompetance, for a while I looked the samw when 'at rest', but it's since improved. I presumed it was a mixture of the swelling and the quite taut stitches. But for whichever reason, yours might improve like mine did

Thanks, guys! Esoteric, thanks for the tutorial....I tried photobucket and couldn't get the code to produce a pic in my posts. I'm sure it's a simple thing I didn't do correctly, I will try again at some point!
