help!

help!

yesterday something strange started happning, when i bite down my upper jaw moves up and down. i am really scared. i am almost four weeks post. i had a lefort 1. my surgeon said it will stop butr i dont believe him... i am really afraid this is a non union or relapse etc.! has this ever happen to anyone :cry:

I'd advise you ask for some imaging to check this out -

i emailed my surgeon 4 times. he keeps saying give it time. :x

This wouldn't be acceptable to me. If your upper jaw is mobile, something isn't correct. At a minimum you need an x-ray and your surgeon should take some time to evaluate it. Chances are they are correct and you will be fine, but I believe you have a valid concern and your surgeon deserves your attention.

Make an appointment...or march into their office and demand to be seen!

i really wish it was simple. the staff at the office are rude. and my surgeon said that there's nothing to do. just to give it time.

my jaw is only moving on one side now though. still worried
