That's interesting. My original surgeon was going to do double jaw and leave it at that, then after we moved house and I got a new surgeon he recommended genio as well. Glad he didn't spring it on me the day beforehand - that's hard to take talkalot and I hope you reached a decision you'll be happy with. Apparently it's quite common to have jaw surgery first, then genio later once you're fully recovered; but personally, I think I'm going to just get the whole lot over and done with in one op rather than have all the hassle of childcare and pre- and post-op appointments all over again, not to mention yet another bout of drugs and recovery. hey all,

I'm 6 days post op. Things are going pretty good, aside from this perpetual feeling of hunger!! I did get both jaws operated on, and genio. I'm glad I did the genio. I'm still unsure if I would have been more unhappy with just top jaw and genio, but I'll never know.
