Hello,
So to take Dr. Relle's place at the sunset Los Angeles Kaiser, there are 2 doctors Dr. Tehrany and Dr. Kim... Does anyone have any experience or comments about them?
Any have experience with Dr. Tehrany or Dr. Kim at Kaiser?

Dr. Tehrany removed my wisdom teeth about 2 years ago at UCLA. I had everything done at UCLA, orthodontics and surgery itself. She is a nice a lady but but IDK if i would be 100% comfortable having a recent graduate perform a surgery of this magnitude. Remember it is important to carefully choose a surgeon. Good luck!

I had a consult with Dr. Tehrany before I had one with Dr. Relle because I didnt know he was still at Kaiser at the time but as the the above poster mentioned, I dont know if I would be comfortable with a recent graduate perform this big of a surgery. She's great and all, her letter of diagnosis to my orthodontist is pretty much the same as Dr. Relle's but in the end I chose Dr. Relle because I've heard so much great things about him and knew of others who had their surgeries done through him and he was a veteran in the field. Since he's no longer at Kaiser and if you have to go through Kaiser, there's another OC oral surgeon by the name of Dr. Randal Schoeman who's just as old as Dr. Relle if not older and have performed countless jaw surgeries, my friend's daughter had hers done through Dr. Schoeman and she's 1 year post op and is extremely happy with her results. I went to Dr. Schoeman for a consult as well but didnt go with him only because he was farther for me and lucky for me, Dr. Relle was still in practice w/Kaiser so it was a no brainer to go with with him since I felt entrusted in him and he was closer to me. I am currently 2 months post-op and I am very happy with my results, though I still have some residual swelling, numbness in certain areas and soreness of some parts of my face/mouth from time to time but that's normal because this is a long journey and it's only been 2 months so I cant expect a miracle. This journey definitely takes time and patience and a positive mind. Hope that helps, good luck.
