Can't open my mouth

For some reason, ever since I got braces put on, I can't open my mouth wider than an inch..I can't open my mouth wide enough to yawn or to eat a bannana. Does this surgery fix it?

This could be a problem with your TMJs, you should definitely go see a doctor about it if you can.

Yeah, this does not sound normal. I had problems opening and closing my mouth shortly after getting braces, but only because my cheeks were filled with sores and blisters from the new hardware in my mouth!
