Surfing after sarpe.

Hey everyone.

I am having sarpe performed on may 14th and am going to puerto rice to see an old friend around end of july early august. He is a surf instructor and I always wanted to got surfing. I was wondering if it is possible for me to do this 3 months after surgery. The ortho said I will have the expander on the 6 months, but I think only 4 since I only have to expand 5 mm.

Any advice?

Honestly , it took me 3 months to get back into the swing of things after SARPE.

The problem is, your jaw does not heal straight away due to you constantly expanding your jaw. It only really truly heals once that is finished.
