Can i fix it without surgery?

#1 Post by zumba123 »

Hi. I need your opinions about this issue. I have relatively large lower jaw - possible due to my father :) - and also got a slight underbite which can be categorized as edge to edge. My visual appearances shows that it is possible to be related with skeleton so i think for my case surgery is recomended basiclly i have no problem with my appearance but i got basiclly speaking problems as my teeths strikes each other while i am speaking and this annoys me much. I also got spacing between my lower teeths. Is it possible for me to avoid of surgery?. thanks all.

Very unlikely tbh

If the problem is with your jaw bone , which by the sounds of it , it is, They will need to break your jaw in order to reset it.

I can't see how this would be done through brace work alone. As that only shuffles and shifts your teeth around.

If I don't see a pic of your lower face or profile I can't really tell you.
