What kind of surgery should I get to shorten a long face

#1 Post by LongNarrow »

I might be getting underbite correction surgery and I know most people usually get genioplasty afterwards but not only have I read so many unsatisfied reviews of the operation, I heard your fast gets longer and more narrow! So what kind of surgery should I get after underbite surgery to make my cheeks fuller and face shorter?

Cheeks and jaws are two entirely different structures, so unless you get a Lefort III the cheeks will be for the most part unaffected

Mandibular setback should shorten your face, as should impaction assuming you have a gummy smile or open bite

No I have an underbite, that's why I might be getting underbite correction. I am just concerned because people usually have genioplasty afterwards and that makes a persons face longer and skinnier and that's not what I want! I want shorter if anything.
