Need medical terms

#1 Post by riley3245 »

I was told by my ortho to tell my surgeon that I want a "class 1 inclusion and midline ...." something along those lines. He told me to say this after I told him my oral surgeon was going to move my upper jaw a mm off center to match my lower jaw.

After two years of braces and a sarpe surgery I want a perfect bite. Can anyone tell me the proper terminology so I can tell the oral surgeon. I don't want him to move my upper jaw off center even if won't be noticeable.

I know that you say that you don't want your midline off-center, but my oral surgeon said they've run studies on this, and a midline discepancy of less than 4mm is simply not noticeable unless you are looking for it. 1mm is likely only visible using a straightedge.
