Reduce tuberosity.

#1 Post by stunner »

Not sure that one should read one's own surgical plan armed with teensy bit of lay knowledge and google. . .

Anyone had tuberosity reduction? As part of their surgery?

And, dumb question, but with the tooth numbering system, which side, to the patient's perspective, is number 30 and 31. Just wondering. I can barely tell right from left at the best of times.

Well, I hadn't heard of tuberosity reduction before, but reading up on it appears to show it's a pretty trivial operation, practically a rounding error, trauma-wise, vs. the rest of jaw surgery.

I believe that teeth 30, 31 are on the bottom right.
