Suggest doctors for second opinion

#1 Post by Poll »

Please suggest a orthodontist and surgeon in London UK who would give independent opinion on previous treatment. My orthodontist and surgeon say the treatment is done but I have only one contact between my arches, I can’t bite or chaw, jaw is cracking and hurts etc.

I had more contacts between my teeth before the surgery and braces, my jaw didn’t hurt and I could bite apples and chaw carrots.

Flying to somewhere else in Europe would also be a possibility. So if you know a doctor who is not afraid to be critical for someone else's job please let me know who they are and where to find them.

How long have you been after surgery? you could still be healing, or it could be something more serious needing an x ray...

We don't know where you went to in the first place,

Bart's hospital, Guy's and maybe King's hospital if they arn't already part of Guy's. ----- I've only been to my local kent one and Guy's, and I can say Guy's is much more efficent, in terms of speed and feedback. But I can't really recommend them as I haven't got the personal experience elsewhere. Try speaking to your gp and or where you've had all this treatment done. Wherever you went for this seemingly shoddy work should help you out, morally. They would also know best.

My advice is to speak to everyone you can and try to keep an open mind to get to the bottom of this, let them know how you feel and ask what they can do for you if any.
