Nah. I managed to stop lying on my side for a grand total of about three days!

I had a BSSO surgery two weeks ago, and I slept on my back for the first 3 or 4 days, but inevitably woke up and I was on my side. I now basically sleep on my side each night, although I have it so my head is on the pillow but my jaw is slightly elevated (the pillows are at an angle against a wall). It's awkward, but... it works.

I do intend to ask my surgeon about this, so I'll update this post with what he says, when I do. I doubt it's problematic! :)
