Pain Almost A Year After Surgery

Hi all.

I had Orthognathic (double jaw surgery) in July 2014. It's almost a year later and I'm still having pain.

Don't know if this helps, but they corrected an over bite and a cross bite. About to get my bottom braces off in a week. The top braces will come off a week or so later.

Is this normal and what can I do about it?
