Surgical hooks prior to surgery

yeah I resorted to wax today. the tech who placed the hooks said that I could bend them back but to be careful not to bend them alot and to avoid bending them side to side. I bent them back the first day. I think I found the problem. I think I tend to purse my lips and to pull my lips into my mouth and bite down therefore increasing the pressure on the hooks. I do it without thinking. LOL So I waxed and tried to avoid this as much as I could and its much better.
