Hey again,
I have been back to my original surgeon now since securing the second opinion. He explained that my upper lip is 4mm too short compared with my chin and that when that was taken into account I was considered boarderline. However he said he would be happy to perform a Lefort 1! Very good news especially as it is free on the NHS. :)

Hi,

I know this is an old post, but I was wondering if you ended up having the le fort 1 procedure done and if it fixed your lips?

I have this same issue and I've had a hard time figuring out what I need to have done to fix my lip closure issues. I, also, have had jaw surgery before, but it didn't resolve the issue I have with not being able to close my lips. Thank you in advance for responding to me!
