I don't know if I should be excited for both of us or saying "Good thing we aren't going into this alone"? Ha ha ha!!! Seriously, though, it's good to know others going through the process and since you'll be a few weeks ahead of me, you can let me know how it went. If you don't mind me asking, are you having one jaw? Both? Genioplasty?[/quote]


Ha right!? I think I'm going to start a Fall 2016 surgery buddies thread here.

I am having both upper and lower for underbite/crossbite. I'll be doing a post here soon with pictures. I know it helps to get an idea of what things look like before! What are you having done?

Ha yep! Thanks for starting that! I have seen three surgeons and the last one wanted to do a genioplasty, but this one doesn't. I'm all for minimizing the amount of stuff I have to have done, and I figure I can have them go back in if things look strange after surgery. I trust my surgeon though--he seems to be one it.
