Yesterday was my one month post-op anniversary as well. I'm cleared for minimal soft chewing but I haven't done it yet. I've gotten so used to not chewing that I don't even think about it.
My Septum is still in place, but I still have congestion issues.

Today marks my 5th week post-op and man, I am getting sooooooooooooooooo tired of my splint for my top jaw!! I keep slurping since I can't fully close my lips to swallow properly and it's just so annoying to get clean when I get stuff in it!! 
I have another 2 weeks before he'll take it out too! Booooooo!!!!!! Other than that, I am so happy I got the septoplasty part done if nothing else... It's amazing being able to breathe properly for the first time in my whole life!!!
