So ive been wondering.. Elastics were put on my teeth to close the gaps and dramatically pull my underbite into an almost normal bite.
The question i have is, If it looks like i have almost a normal bite right now with my elastics in(been wearing them for a while and they've done wonders), how do things work out after surgery when my upper jaw will probably be ahead of my bottom teeth by a fairly large margin?
From my understanding after surgery theres usually a gap for a while(maybe looking like an overbite?) and the ortho will put elastics on again and that will fix the gap over time?
