Anyone have Humana insurance?

#1 Post by bleh2blah »

I have the choice between blue cross or Humana anyone know which one approves better? I would rather got with Humana but only if there are no approval problems for surgery. THanks

It really depends on the plan you are choosing. Each plan is different for each insurance. So before you make a decision, read the benefit documents and see if there are any exclusions for this surgery. I have Humana as my secondary insurance and they will not cover this surgery.

I also have Blue Cross, and they approved my surgery at the Mayo Clinic, which is never cheap. I actually recieved my bill yesterday, and it came to just over 40,000. And thank god, I only have to pay the deductible!!!
