Metal Mouth Message Board

Im have a apppointment in a few weeks for my Frenectomy,
the fleshy bit between my front teeth is being clipped, I was wondering if any one else has had this done ?
Im not majorly worried which is unusual I just want it done so my front teeth can make progress on the gap being closed ?
I would like to hear from other people on there experiences before I get chopped !

i had this procedure as a kid, I'm guessing I may have been 8 or so, All I rememmber is that novacaine stung, the clip hurt enough for two big tears to sqeeze out and that was it, really nothing to worry about. I had it to let the gap between my two front teeth close naturally, which it did. Good luck
