bands

i was just wondering how long has everyone had their bands/wires on for? Ive had bands for 4 weeks and still have atleast another 2/3 to go

I'm supposed to have mine for 5-6 weeks. So far it's been 2 1/2 weeks. I guess it depends on how my bite responds to the elastics.

I had tight elastics for 1 week after..after that i've had one on each side..and still have them..5 weeks in. Tomorrow I'm seeing my OS..so something might change.

i was told i was only going to have them on 4 weeks, but after a few weeks could take thme off to clean my teeth but accidently put them back on wrong, my authdontist told me the way i put them on encourged my jaw to move in the wrong way and go backwards.. so now i have 2 wear the bands for an extra 2 weeks

I was tight banded for 4 days post op. I'm now 3 weeks post op and I'm still wearing guiding elastics and have them on for another 2 weeks.

I have guiding elastics on both sides, in a triangle configuration that I'm to wear 24/7 for the next 7 more weeks. It will be 8 weeks total!
