19 Days post op first before and after pics

Well I am finally 19 days post op now and things are feeling alot better for me at this point. I am still swollen in the lips and cheeks abit and have quite abit of numbness throughout my face. I have returned to work on tuesday so I'm pretty good. Below is my first before and after pictures since the operation and I well take more when the swelling goes down more.

Wow, your profile looks so much different. Did you have genioplasty? Good luck with your recovery. Do you have a job with a lot of talking? I couldn't imagine going back to work so soon after surgery (I'm a professor though who talks alot)!!!!!

yup they fixed my chin up not sure whats it called they pretty much cut the bone and slide it up and attach it with brackets (my x-rays are full of metal now in my face) and yes I do talk alot at work and it is hard and makes my mouth/jaw sore by the end of the day. At least I get it moving more and more still it only opens a tiny bit.

I was just going to browse posts today and not post myself, until I saw your pics ! I had not seen your before pics, just your post op pics. YOU LOOK AWESOME ! That is a truly amazing change in your profile. You must be very happy even though you are still experiencing post-op difficulties.

Wow, amazing results. My profile i your beore pic is very similar to mine. t gives me an idea what surger to my jaw would look like.
