Wisdom teeth and braces

Yep definately. I had 3 of mine taken out during my jaw surgery, and the other one taken out nearly 3 weeks ago. I dont think the braces make any diference to the removal, and its a matter of the surgeons preference.

Braces on 11th June 2006,~ BSSO and Wisdom tooth removal 11th February 2008,~ Plate Removal 14th May 2008,~ Braces off 28th August 2008.

We sure can! Only one little tiny issue with the braces! When you have teeth out, you have gauze in your mouth to help control/stop the bleeding. The gauze gets really tangled and caught in all the brackets and wires. Its a problem that you can deal with, but its still a pain in the butt! ![wink :wink:](./images/smilies/wink.gif)
