Hey, ya'll! Decided to post some pictures of my BSSO and genio profile. Surgery was Sept 22. I'm very pleased with the profile results. I'm still getting used to the front view... my face looks longer with my new more-prominent chin.
My formerly round cheeks have virtually disappeared from the 12 lb wt. loss and also I imagine from jaw muscle atrophy from having been wired and then on soft chew foods for almost 1.5 months. I think it's quite a psychological adjustment to accept a different face in the mirror, even if the change wasn't really all that drastic.

looks great hun congratulations my chin is kinda like your pre op and im havign bsso too.

I hate my shark face apearence and hoping my nose will look much better and a lil smaller post op

I DO think my nose looks better now with the stronger chin. It's always been my most dominant facial feature, and I think still is, just less so now.

Congratulations sylvi. You must be so happy with your new profile. The surgeon did a lovely job.

Sylvi: Looking good. Congratulations. Got any more photos? Any front view? Often this surgery makes nose look smaller. Did yours? I know mine did, even though, like yours it was not really big to begin with. My profile used to look very much like yours.
