le fort (4.5mm) didn't go far enough, implants?

#1 Post by shazmuls »

I like the results but man are they subtle, I've got a more regular profile now but still a flat midface area. What implants can be used to emulate and extend the upper jaw advancement procedure? to give me more of the same, more convex apperance.

I've seen paranasal implants (http://www.dryaremchuk.com/english/s_osteotomy.htm) and porex midface rim implants (http://www.porexsurgical.com/english/su ... acerim.asp)

and also considering dermal fillers too perhaps.

Has anyone got implants here on top of their le fort advancements.

thanks in advance.

There's various types of implants. Cheek bone advancement is another option.

Paranasals, premaxillary, orbital rim, malar, sub-malar are the ones I'm aware of.
