Overbite correction... how much were you advanced?

This is to the people who have had jaw surgery already for the correction of an overbite. How many mm was your lower jaw advanced to correct the over bite? And aesthetically how much of a difference did it make?

Any input will be much appreciated.

Mine was advanced 7mm and it has made a massive difference my teeth no longer sit outside my mouth its amazing Im so happy.

mine was advanced 12mm, hard to tell what difference its made yet as still swollen, but its looking good so far
