Tooth Extraction

Has anyone had a tooth that was inside(not visible) removed?

My ortho said that if I had that tooth removed my braces results would be a lot better.

My question is does anyone have a ball park range of how much that might cost me? He said I would have to visit an ortho surgeon to get it removed.

I currently dont have any insurance.

I'm getting my wisdom teeth pulled this Friday, and my oral surgeon is charging me $200 per tooth. It's cheap because I'm a very simple case - all my wisdom teeth erupted normally. In your case, it sounds like you have a impacted tooth, and my OS charges up to $350 for those, depending on the complexity.

So for 3 wisdom teeth, I am paying a total of $600 + $70 consult fee. I am paying cash since I've hit my dental benefits annual limit.

I had two impacted wisdom teeth pulled out in February. It was about $790 for both teeth and laughing gas. It was the happiest 2 hours of my life spent...
