Have you heard of oil of oregano? it can be viewed as one of those hippie home remedy types of things (to clarify, i'm not anti doctor or all homeopathic), but a lot of people have had great results with preventing recurring infections with it. at the very least it's a cheap and pretty safe alternative to loading your body up with antibiotics at the risk of resistance later (all taht MRSA freaks me out!).
Good luck, hope most of the time it's no more than the sniffles!

Was told yesterday by my surgeon that this sinus pain is possibly due to the sinuses remoddelling after surgery!
If not it could be an iritation of the plates that were inserted during the operation - these could be removed in three months if necessary.

I DONT THINK SO!!!
Paracetamol and other pain relief will have to do.

I had double jaw, my nose was bleeding a lot for the first week and a half or 2 weeks, I don't remember exactly. Every time I got up and was up for a while my nose started bleeding.

They do cut through your sinuses with upper jaw surgery, so it happens.
